Head of the Analysis Section at the General Headquarters of the Guardia di Finanza, Italy
Michele Brunetti is the Head of the Analysis Section at the General Headquarters of the Guardia di Finanza. At the age of 16 he was admitted to the attendance of the Nunziatella Military School, in Naples. He then enrolled Guardia di Finanza Academy (set in Bergamo), where he graduated in Economic and Financial Security Science and, later, in Law. Between 2013 and 2018 he served as the Head of a Section of the Nucleo Speciale di Polizia Valutaria, dealing with financial crimes. He held several lectures at Guardia di Finanza Schools, concerning professional fields, in particular about the (police) techniques of analysis and means of contrast to economic and financial crimes. He is author of several books and articles about tax evasion, money laundering and market abuse.
