Alfredo Nunzi is the Head of the Institutional and Legal Affairs Department of Europol, which he joined in 2001 and where he has also held the positions of Secretary of the Management Board and Head of Administration.
From 1991 to 2001, he served with the United Nations, initially as legal expert and then as project manager in the area of crime prevention and criminal justice in post-conflict areas.
Holds a degree in law from the University of Rome (Italy) and a doctorat en droit penal from the University of Nantes (France).
