My name is Carlo Cavazzoni, I hold a PhD in computational physics, and I’m presently SVP of Cloud Computing in Leonardo, and director of the Leonardo HPC Lab. Before joining Leonardo, I’ve spent more than 20 years in Cineca (Italian supercomputing centre), where I became head of HPC R&D, with responsibility for the evolution and exploitation of the national and European HPC infrastructure. I’m also a member of the EuroHPC Research and Innovation Advisory Board, and a steering board member of the ETP4HPC association, and Leonardo representative in GAIA-X and in the European Alliance European Alliance for Industrial Data, Edge and Cloud
